Host families

Our students come from all over world to learn English in Winchester. They are all adults over the age of 18. They are highly motivated and keen to learn all about life in the UK as well as improve their language skills. An important part of their experience is staying with friendly hosts who welcome them as part of the family.

Our host families earn

£137 - £197* a week September to May
(£147 - £197* from January 2020)

June, July & August £157 - £207*
*Lower rate for single bedroom with shared bathroom, higher rate for single bedroom with private bathroom

Our host families provide dinner, bed and breakfast (and a light/packed lunch at weekends)
No packed lunches required during the week
